About my Window
Pop-up Panto is displayed at Aynsley Insurance – map number 9
With my usual world of theatre being on hold for a while, I wanted to recreate some of the missing magic on the high street.
My visual inspiration comes from my experience within Scenic Art using a combination of the illustrative style of pantomime design, ballet sets and pop-up books.
About Me
I studied Theatre Design at Birmingham Institute of Art & Design ‘93-‘98 and since graduating have worked as a Scenic Artist. I paint, sculpt and design for theatre, museums, concerts, theme parks, film and TV.
Past projects have included an 8m high polystyrene Robbie Williams head and two re-builds of JORVIK Viking Centre.
Currently working on a series of drawing commissions from my Birmingham workshop.
