The Stardome is an inflatable planetarium, about 6m in diameter and almost 3m in height. You can think of it as a cross between a tent, bouncy castle and cinema! It is inflated using a commercial floor fan and once inside, provides a full, 360 degree immersive theatre experience for 20-25 adults. Planetarium shows can cover a wide variety of subjects, including the search for extra-terrestrial life, the origins of the universe and how our world, its peoples and ecosystems are intrinsically connected.

Access information

Full audio (whether embedded within the film, or provided by the show host) is provided.

Each planetarium film is a combination of moving images and audio. This is set within a darkened/enclosed environment.
