Hands-on children’s activities & mini workshops, sustainable craft stalls, explore Middleport Pottery’s heritage areas, face painting, children’s story time and lots more.

Recycled Bugs I Potteries Museum & Art Gallery 

Saturday 20 April I Drop-in 11am-12.30pm, 1.30pm – 3pm 

Recycle plastic waste and with clay turn it into a bug. Let your imagination go wild and see what wonderful bugs you can create.

Make Plastic History I Potteries Museum & Art Gallery

Take part in a range of family-fun activities with researchers from Staffordshire University. Recycle plastic waste into your own deep-sea creatures, go on an archaeological plastic dig, create a masterpiece with community artist Dan Lewis and more!

Longton Carnival and Pig Walk Parade by Urban Wilderness I Longton Town Centre 

Sunday 21 April I 11am to 4pm 

 FREE funday for all the family with funfair, street food, circus performers, live bands and singers followed by the spectacular Pig Walk Carnival Parade.

Earth Stories Film Festival I Mitchell Arts Centre 

Monday 22 April I 6.30pm – 8.30pm

Earth Stories Film Festival is a Keele University based environmental film festival aimed at young filmmakers (14-25 years old). The festival is a student-led initiative that provides a platform for students and young filmmakers from across the world to showcase their filmmaking talent.
