Following on from family circus extravaganza, Circus Remixed, Upswing will be showing you how to do it yourself! Vicki, Upswing’s Artistic Director, leads two FREE drop in circus workshops during The Big Feast weekend!

Try your hand at a bit of juggling, a little hula hoop, some acro and become a circus star over the weekend!

These workshops are supported by The Phillip Astley Project supported by Heritage Lottery Funding. Philip Astley, the father of the modern circus was born in Newcastle under Lyme in 1742. The Philip Astley Project aims to celebrate his life and legacy through a series of events culminating in 2018 with the 250th anniversary of his invention of the modern circus. Find out more here.
