The Language of Growing at Newcastle Common

The Language of Growing at Newcastle Common

This week, we’ll be exploring the urban wildlife in and around Newcastle Common. Which plants might you be walking past every day without noticing? How can we collaborate with the local wildlife? Can we?

Come and join Lisa Franklin at Newcastle Common on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 April from 11am to 3pm to take a closer look at the plants around us and to have a go at making art with them. We often have more in common than we think.

We’ll be trying some plant poetry, plant printing, listening to plant music and sounds and finding out all about the language of plants and the people that they live alongside in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
