In partnership with Newcastle under Lyme BID, Appetite are very excited to bring you The Homecoming!

25 June will see the country’s best contemporary circus take over Newcastle-under-Lyme Town Centre in celebration of the creator and ‘father of the modern circus’ Philip Astley, born in Newcastle in 1742. The Town Centre Partnership has created The Homecoming to celebrate the incredible life of this renowned local pioneer, raise awareness of his work and bring fantastic entertainment to Newcastle. This year is the third Homecoming and following the huge success of The Homecoming 2015, Arts Council Funding been given to Newcastle BID (Business Improvement District) to continue and expand the event. Working alongside the Philip Astley Project there are amazing plans for the future – bringing the circus back home & to life in Newcastle.
