Keele Women’s Community Choir was formed 3 years ago by Keele lecturer Rebecca Leach, under the musical direction of Shropshire based musician Mary Keith. The choir is open-access, made up of women associated with Keele University and it’s wider community. All the music is learnt aurally and is mainly sung acapella, drawing on influences from around the world, traditional folk and pop classics. Though not formed as a performing ensemble, they do enjoy the occasional public airing where their fresh, unfettered harmonies have delighted audiences in Newcastle and Keele.

Roundabout by Paines Plough is the world’s first pop-up, plug and play theatre and it’s coming to Stoke-on-Trent!  Roundabout presents outstanding plays by some of the nation’s finest writers, along with fantastic guest companies and one-off performances and events. Roundabout will be popping up in Albion Square, City Centre from 15-18 October with a programme of both brand new plays and local performances.
