Get a free brew for an opinion or two! The Travelling Tea Room is a beautifully decorated tent accompanied by a quirky 3-wheeled van that will appear at cultural events around this wonderful city. You are invited to relax, enjoy a cup of tea and a chat in the Travelling Tea Room. The Travelling Tea Room will appear at each of the Appetite events over the course of the summer. Thanks to The Mitchell Arts Centre & The Colouring Box for providing an amazing place to relax and chat about the arts.

Trolleys by C-12 Dance Theatre – Outside Tesco 1.30 pm & 3pm
Trolleys spin, glide and slide in this highly physical, humorous outdoor performance where high- octane contemporary dance, acrobatics and street dance merge with the extraordinary world of trolleys. Set to a pounding electro-acoustic score, TROLLEYS will tease, thrill and move its audience. You’ll never go shopping in the same way again.
This is a must see without a doubt. Thanks to Tesco for their support.

The Knowledge Emporium by Slunglow – Tontine Square 11.30am & 2.30pm
The Knowledge Emporium is a sweetshop with one big difference: it doesn’t take money. It trades sweets for knowledge – your knowledge, your stories, your recipes or anecdotes or beliefs for sweets. Write something in the Big Book of Everything We Know and help yourself to sweets. Stories are then performed from the Big Book of Everything We Know on Saturday 17th.

Travelling haberdasher Gracie Spoon carries a tray full of buttons, tricks and tales, weaving together a patchwork wonderland of magic and stories to delight, inspire and amaze.

Wheel House by Acrojou – Bus Station – 11.30am, 12.45pm & 2.00pm
A story which unfolds inside and around the circular set as it rolls along at a gentle pace, with the audience walking alongside. Performed ‘fourth wall’ over a series of scenes, some rolling and some static, The Wheel House features comedy, theatrical acrobatics and breathtaking moments of risk, all housed within an exquisite, hand-built structure.
