Museum of the Moon by Luke Jerram
After mesmerising millions across the globe, Luke Jerram’s glorious gleaming moon will shine brightly in Stoke-on-Trent this summer…
Museum of the Moon is a spectacular seven-metre-wide, floating moon sculpture with detailed NASA imagery on its surface. Each centimetre of the replica equals 5 kms of the lunar surface.
Escape under moonlight as the lunar lit installation featuring a surround sound composition by BAFTA winner Dan Jones whisks you away to another planet.

Living in the UK but working internationally for 19 years, Luke Jerram has created a number of extraordinary art projects which have excited and inspired people around the globe, including here in Stoke-on-Trent with Play Me I’m Yours in 2014 and Lullaby in 2015.
The Big Feast Under the Moon
Museum of the Moon is accompanied by an exciting programme of moon-inspired events and activities for you to enjoy under moonlight.
Museum of the Moon is free to view but we gratefully welcome any donations to help us keep delivering fantastic art in Stoke-on-Trent. If you are able, please do give a donation after viewing in the King’s Hall entrance foyer.

Bring the little ones to a very special storytime under the moon in Bedtime Stories with Stoke-on-Trent Libraries and escape to an enchanted island with Moon on a Stick puppetry theatre. Ages 5-8 but all welcome.
