Facilities

  • The whole of Dancing through the Decades will be taking place outdoors. You are free to come and go as you like and you don’t need to be quiet.
  • Accessible toilets, Changing Places toilets and baby changing facilities are available at Hanley Indoor Market, Hanley Bus Station and Smithfield 1.
  • As some of our shows contain loud noises, noise cancelling headphones will be available from our Appetite HQ in the 1990s area
  • All performances are wheelchair accessible
  • Council Car Park Charges from £1.70/hr – £9.80 for all day parking. Card Payments accepted at Car Parks listed below:

Parking from £1.40/hr – £9.10 for 7 hours – Tap & Go Payments available.

Access Information

  • Quiet workshop sessions: We recommend coming first thing when the event is less busy. For those who require it, we can allocate them their own table in a corner furthest away from the sound, please just ask a member of the team.
  • There are Easy Read Visual Story documents available for We Meet Again, Topiary Trauma, Knot and Actual Reality Arcade.
  • Noise cancelling headphones will be available from our Appetite HQ outside the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery

Audio Description

To use audio description, simply head to our Appetite HQ gazebo outside the Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and ask for a kit. A steward or team member will then accompany you to your chosen performance and introduce you to the Audio Describer who will provide instructions on how to participate. You’ll need to make sure to hand the kit back to the steward when you have finished.
