Big Feast ’19: The Band at the End of the World!

Big Feast ’19: The Band at the End of the World!

by Ramshacklicious

Roaming, brass heavy, anarchic, musical mayhem… five musicians arrive dressed in punk marching-band attire, with the intensity of the inevitable end of the world burning through their eyes.

From the gentle to the manic, their simple existence, struggle and joy plays out as they roam through the City Centre in a series of beautiful, striking moments and audience interactions.

All accompanied by a partly improvised cinematic score played live by the musical ensemble.

A humorous and emotional re-mixing of the traditional street band.

Commissioned by Freedom Festival Art Trust. SeaChange Arts, Hastings Borough Council & OnSet. Supported by Without Walls, Arts Council England, 101 Outdoor Arts Creation Space, The invisible Circus & The Point, Eastleigh.
