Light Night Stoke-on-Trent in partnership with Up for Arts and BBC Radio Stoke are challenging families, individuals, businesses and schools across Stoke-on-Trent to light up the city this January in the countdown to the first Light Night Stoke-on-Trent. We want to see the whole city glowing and YOU taking part!
Light up your window, your street, your business or your school during the month of January and share your pics on social media using #LightUpStoke in the countdown to Light Night beginning on 31 January.
Light Night Stoke-on-Trent is match funded by Stoke-on-Trent City Council and Arts Council England. It is delivered by Appetite in partnership with Stoke-on-Trent City Council and the Cultural Forum.
How do I take part in The Challenge?
· Light Night Workshops: Make your own Porcelain Bunting
Make your own illuminated porcelain bunting with local artist Alice Thatcher in our special workshops. Workshops are free and take place in Libraries during January. Find out more and book a place here.
· Light Night Challenge Kits
Pick up your FREE Light Night Challenge kit from Libraries and other venues throughout the city. The kit shows you how to make your very own Light Night tea-light holder designed by a local artist. Display it in your window, share your pics using#LightUpStoke and encourage your neighbours to take part light up the whole street!
