KULES Artist Residencies: Open Day!

KULES Artist Residencies: Open Day!

KULES is an annual artists’ residency in Stoke-on-Trent that gives artists the chance to develop new works and engage with Stoke-on-Trent and its rich industrial heritage and unique resources. Each year KULES uses a different disused industrial space in the city bringing it back to life.

KULES are offering a rare chance to see behind the scenes of an artists’ residency. Get a tour of a 3000 sq. metre grand old redundant former engineering works, Olympus; have an introduction to the KULES residency by one of the directors; meet the three resident artists (Lucy Wright, Noel Clueit and Sarah Hardacre) and hear about their planned works and residency activities.

The theme for 2015, around which the residents are working is “The Public as Material” For more information on KULES please visit the Residency blog here
