The Big Feast 2015!

Appetite presents…

The Oasis Social Club by Rebecca Davies

The Oasis Social Club is a spectacular mobile space returning to Stoke-on-Trent after its jam packed visit to Portland Street in June.

The Club is hosted by BARB FORESHAW, a Stokey woman played by artist Rebecca Davies, whose look, name, story and smell has been directed by the people of Stoke. She is supported by The Committee, a group of inspirational Stoke residents who have directed the programme and ethos of The Club for Stoke. For The Big Feast they are joined by aerobics instructor Tracey (dancer/choreographer Sarah Blanc) and factory worker Mags (artist Morven Mulgrew) who will be working with Barb to provide entertainment and activities suitable for the whole family.

The Oasis Social Club is a place for coming together! In between the performances and entertainment, Barb will lead discussions around creating a community space for Portland Street, Hanley
.
