The Oasis Social Club Workshops: Alright Duck?

The Oasis Social Club Workshops: Alright Duck?

Get stuck into The Oasis Social Club!

The Oasis Social Club is a spectacular mobile space coming to Stoke on Trent in June. A pop up social club, it encourages a lively and sociable atmosphere, inviting local residents to take part in performance, programming and debate. It’s about having your say and having a laugh. The Oasis Social Club is OURS! Find out more here.

Do you want to be part of the steering group that forms the committee helping run the club when it arrives? Work with artist Rebecca Davis to put together a programme of debate, discussion and performance hosted by the club. You’ll even get to help her create the Stokie character that will host it!

All workshops are free and taking place in May in community centres across the city. Don’t miss your chance to be part of a unique event in Stoke.

Workshop No.2: ‘Alright Duck?’

Bring your Stokie slang! A workshop exploring the phrases, charms and the Stoke stereotype. Get your portrait drawn by Rebecca in exchange for your stories!
