Have YOUR say on Sensasian 2026 - YOUR way!

Sensasian is a vibrant festival celebrating South Asian arts and culture right here in Stoke-on-Trent, brought to you by Appetite and New Vic Theatre.

The past two Sensasian-al years have been filled with some of the best South Asian artists and artistry, from comedy to dance, film to photography, music to magic, and much more. And we want 2026 to be even bigger and better than ever.

Think you can add some cultural spice? Got ideas for music, dance, art, or something totally unique that might be missing from the menu?

Whether you were there first for Sensasian 2024, were new to Sensasian 2025, or if Sensasian 2026 is going to be your big introduction, we want you to inspire us and help us build a festival that will inspire the local community too!

Your voice and vision are vital to Sensasian and we want to hear it at our first Creative Consultation:

New Vic Theatre

What to expect

Our Consultations are a completely open forum for thoughts, ideas, and conversations about the arts and culture that you want to see at Sensasian 2026. There’s no such thing as a bad idea!

You will meet like-minded people who are as passionate about South Asian culture in Stoke-on-Trent as you are. Who knows, you might make new friends and lasting connections.

Free tea, coffee and snacks – of course!

Who should come?

The event is open to all, with a focus on the local South Asian community. But we are keen to meet with everybody who has an interest in South Asian arts, culture, and creative experiences for our area.

So please come along and add your voice to our vision for celebrating Stoke-on-Trent’s vibrant heritage. And tell your family, friends and neighbours that they’re invited too!
