Over the summer a lot of amazing things happened, including the sun coming out and whole range of art events happening all across Stoke on Trent, including a beautiful circus, red people, punts, solar powered cinemas and the world tipping in front of our eyes, all courtesy of Appetite.
If you spent a bit of time ‘Getting Talking’ with someone in an orange T-Shirt about art, then chances are they were a member of the Get Talking Network, a group of wonderful volunteers who gave up their own time over the summer to learn how to use Get Talking to consult with communities and to attend all of Appetite’s Taster Menu of art to ask people what they thought.
We would like to invite you to a ‘Mad hatters Tea and Cake morning’ on Friday 18th October to find out more about:
· The ways you can tell us your thoughts about art in Stoke on Trent
· How to become a member of the Get Talking Network
· The new Get Talking training programme starting on Friday 25th October which will be FREE to all Get Talking Network volunteers
