Fed up of waiting in line?

The Q is a celebration of the Art of Queueing. The “Q Utility Vehicle” is wheeled about ny members of the mysterious orange-clad Q Coporation, to appreciate, enhance and antertain queues wherever they are found – at bus stops, banks, outside cinems,at stadio. Orderly queues are applauded, measured and lavished with attention; queues that look fatigues are supported with chairs, umbrellas, strawberries; advice  on how to queue better is offered for those queues which look a little rag tag. Q Enhancement operatives sometimes form spontaneous queues, at fountains, or pieces of public arts, just for the fun of it.

Appetite says: Just writing this makes me laugh, how much of our lives is spent patiently standing in line. The team from Talking Birds will turn the most mundane and boring of chores an entertainment in itself. I’m tempted to go and queue somwhere just to join in.

This performance is part of Pavement Cafe. Across four Saturdays in August, Appetite will turn the City Centre (Hanley) into a hive of street theatre and amazing shows.
