So, what’s this all about?
You’re probably in Newcastle Town Centre right now and have spoken to someone from our team, or perhaps you’ve found a QR code on a market stand.
We’re Appetite and we’ve worked with our friends at Flatpack Festival on something especially for you in the town. We’re showing some short, teen-friendly films you might not have seen before on the side of the Guildhall (just opposite McDonalds) for you to watch – a bit like an outdoor cinema.
Wacky and wonderful, the films combine a mix and match of animated films from a viral GIF having an existential crisis to a love struck stereo trying to win the heart of the girl next door.
You can see these on Friday 22 March from 6pm. While you’re watching them, we’re also going to ask you what you think and what you might like to see in the town centre. In the future, we’re hoping to do more with local young people like you, so this gives us an idea of what you like (or don’t!).
Sound good?
