Phileas Fogg: Day 79 | Roaming performance | 11am – 11.30am | 12.30pm – 1pm (Touch Tour & AD performance) | 2pm – 2.30pm | Join Phileas Fogg and his valet as they attempt to circumnavigate the world in just 80 days!
Spinsonic Bubbles Show | Queen’s Garden | 11.30am – 12pm | 12.30pm – 1pm | 2.30pm – 3pm | 3.30pm – 4pm | Spinsonic Bubble Shows create small to extra large bubbles that can be the size of a car! You will likely get covered in bubbles
Do What Ya Mama Told Yah! | Outside Café Nero | 12pm – 12.25pm | 2.30pm – 3pm (AD performance) | A feast of family Fusion, across geography and generations in an immersive, vibrant comedy circus outdoor show!
Street Cat Strut | Outside Guildhall | 12.30pm – 12.45pm (AD performance) | 2pm – 2.15pm | 3.30pm – 3.45pm | High skill aerial circus, a bit of kung fu and a lot of silliness | Read the Easy Read for Street Cat Strut here
Marawa’s Majorettes | Ironmarket | 1pm – 2.10pm | Performance + 1 hour workshop | This troupe of amazing, world record holding hoopers, perform and teach workshops to entertain and inspire people all over the world.

PLANNING YOUR VISIT
FINDING HELP
Our Appetite Event Stewards will be wearing blue Appetite clothing and will be happy to offer directions and event information.
There will be an Appetite HQ located in the town centre. Head to the blue gazebo with the Appetite logo to find out more about our access provision or if you need any assistance.
TOILETS
Portacabins will be available on site near the Guildhall, including accessible portacabins. Public toilets can be found on Hassell Street, Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Accessible toilet, baby chancing and a Changing Places accessible toilet can be found at Newcastle Library, Castle House.
BLUE BADGE PARKING
Blue Badge Parking can be found on most of the pay and display car parks in Newcastle-under-Lyme including Ryecroft car Park, Goose Street and King Street.
WHEELCHAIR ACCESS
Astley’s Homecoming is a wheelchair accessible event.
AUDIO DESCRIBED PERFORMANCES
Audio Description will be available at the event. An Audio Description Kit can be signed out from Appetite HQ. Check next to performance details above for times AD performance times.
BSL INTERPRETATION
BSL Interpretation will be available at the event. Check next to performance details above for times BSL performance times.
NOISE CANCELLING HEADPHONES
Noise cancelling headphones will be available from the Appetite HQ. You can sign these out and return them once you have used them.
PHOTOGRAPHY AND FILMING
Please note that we will have photography and filmmaking taking place throughout the event. If you do not wish to be captured on film, please make sure to let one of the Event Stewards know so that we can inform the crew members.
Our events take place in public spaces and are attended by large numbers of the public who will take their own photos. Appetite is not in control of all photographs and videos taken at the event, only the official photographers.
